The SBAC Program is run two times per week including:

Progressive resistance strength training
Specialty strength training
Group exercise and one on one training
Mind/body conditioning

Some of the results you can expect:
Out of the responses we obtained from cancer patients, more than 66% believe that attending a supervised exercise program is a form of support network. The reasons for this are easy to see:

Patients can participate in a program with other patients

The program is structured and supportive of their recovery process. Although in a class format, the exercise protocols are individualized for each participant.Patients receive benefits of a support program (sense of belonging, help through a difficult period, assigned a task and goal setting, working through discomfort, etc). similar to the effects of group therapy (sharing thoughts on cancer, recovery process, feelings of hope and a sense of belonging).
